Any AI video tool can give you a beautiful shot. The trouble starts when the product has to be yours: the logo changes shape, the label turns illegible, the packaging mutates from one shot to the next or the colour drifts off-brand.
For a brand, that’s not a detail: it’s the reason not to publish the video. A better prompt won’t fix it. You need someone controlling the product shot by shot.
How I keep the product accurate
Anyone can generate. The difference is what happens before and after animation.
- I start from the real productPhotos from 3 or 4 angles, renders, packaging files or the vector logo. If there are drawings or a 3D model, I build a 3D version for even more accurate keyframes. The product isn’t invented: it’s built from what already exists.
- I prepare the keyframes in PhotoshopEvery shot starts as a composited image retouched by hand: the product placed in the scene with the right light, reflections and shadows, and with the exact type and logo.
- You approve them before animationWe review the product, the characters and the setting as stills. Fixing things here is far quicker than fixing them in video.
- I animate shot by shotFrom the approved keyframes, I animate each shot and keep the takes where the product stays stable.
- I discard takes where the product changesIf the product drifts in a take, I don’t try to patch it: I discard it and generate another from the approved keyframe. Only takes where the product is the real one make it to the edit.
- I edit and finishEditing, post-production, continuity between shots and versions for each platform.

When AI makes sense (and when it doesn’t)
AI fits when…
- You already have photos or renders of the product and want to see it in new scenes.
- The setting is expensive, far away or impossible to shoot.
- You need several versions or formats of the same idea.
- The deadline doesn’t allow for a shoot.
A shoot is still better when…
- The ad relies on a nuanced performance, dialogue or physical comedy.
- The product has to be shown really working: a texture melting, a liquid pouring, a technical demo.
- The campaign is built on testimonials or real people.

I work as an AI production partner from your concept and art direction. You can hire me for the whole video or just the retouched keyframes, if your team handles the animation. I also work white label, without appearing in front of your client; where possible, I ask to show the project once it’s published.

Who’s behind it
I’m Toni Riera, art director and digital retoucher. After 15 years as an art director in advertising, I specialised in AI applied to retouching and video. AI gets you 90% of the way. The missing 10%, what makes a product the real one and a video look like advertising rather than a demo, is my job.

How much does an AI commercial cost?
A 10–15 second product video for social media starts at €350; a 12–20 second social spot with people at €800; a 20–30 second spot at €1,200; and a 30–60 second campaign spot at €2,500. These are guide prices excluding VAT: the final quote depends on the number of shots, the duration and the versions.
Will the product look exactly like the real one?
Yes, that’s my craft. I start from real photos or renders of the product, prepare and retouch the keyframes before animating and discard any take where the product changes, so the type, logo, shape and colour are your brand’s.
Do we need a shoot?
No. I work from the material you already have of the product: photos, renders or packaging files.
What do I need to get started?
Photos or renders of the product, the vector logo if there is one, references for the style you like and where the video will run. With that I’ll send you an estimate within 24–48 h.
Can I order just the keyframes?
Yes. If your team already animates with AI, I’ll prepare consistent, retouched keyframes: from €120 per frame, depending on final size.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. I can work from your concept and art direction, or take part in the visual development. We agree on the starting material, deliverables and approval points with your team. White label too.
Who owns the usage rights?
The final pieces are yours for commercial use, with no time or territory limits. I work with AI tools that allow commercial use.
What resolution do you deliver?
FHD 1080p, with the versions you need for each platform where it will run.
How many rounds of changes are included?
Depending on the service, the quote includes one or two rounds of revisions. Extra rounds are quoted from €50.
What if it’s urgent?
Deliveries in under 48 h carry a 25% surcharge on the total.
