Hyundai Kona

A full spot. The same character and the same car from start to finish.

A demo spot for the Hyundai Kona, built from real brand images and animated entirely with AI. The goal was to see whether a complete spot, with the feel of an official campaign, could be made without a shoot and without losing the car’s accuracy.

The main challenge was continuity. The car appears in very different shots (parked on a city street, on a sloping street, in a bonnet close-up, in an overhead view of a car park) and in all of them it has to keep the shape, colour and details of the real model. The characters also had to stay the same from shot to shot.

I prepared and retouched the keyframes from Hyundai’s images, adjusting the light and composition of each scene so they would work as a sequence. Then I animated the shots with AI, selected the best takes and did the editing and post-production.

The result is a 20-second Full HD spot with the pace and finish of a brand piece.
