Audi SQ5

Invented characters and settings. The car, true to life.

A demo spot for the Audi SQ5 with an emotional tone: a couple, a working day and a mountain road at sunset. The characters and settings are fictional, generated with AI. The car, on the other hand, had to be faithful to the real model.

In a spot like this, the challenge is continuity. The same two characters appear in very different shots (at the office, inside the car, outdoors) and have to be recognisable in all of them. The car has to keep its shape, lights, wheels and colour from shot to shot, without warping as it moves.

So before animating, I prepared and retouched the keyframes of each scene: the look of the characters, the composition, the sunset light and the details of the car. Once the keyframes were approved, I animated the shots with AI, selected the best takes and did the editing and post-production through to the end card with the logo and claim.

The result is a 46-second Full HD spot that shows how AI can tell a story with characters without losing product accuracy.
