How to make an AI commercial with your real product
By Toni RieraArt director and digital retoucher, Toni Riera AI Studio. Published: 19 October 2026.
Short answer
Yes, you can make an AI commercial with your real product. The product isn’t generated: it starts from photos taken from 3 or 4 angles, renders or packaging files, is composited by hand into the keyframes and is only animated once you’ve approved it. You send the material and approve the product as stills; AI creates the setting and the motion.
What I need from you
- Photos of the product from 3 or 4 angles: front, side, back and a close-up of the label or logo.
- The vector logo and, if available, packaging files, renders, technical drawings or a 3D model.
- References for the style you like: other commercials, photos or brand colours.
- Where the spot will run, the approximate length and your deadline.
You don’t need to send the physical product or arrange a photoshoot if you already have good images.
The process, step by step
1. Estimate and quote
With the material, I reply within 24–48 hours with a proposal, a quote and a timeline. Production is booked with 50% up front.
2. Keyframes with your product
I prepare one still per shot: the real product placed in the scene with the right light, reflections and shadows, and the exact type and logo, retouched by hand.
3. You approve before animation
You review the product, the characters and the setting as stills. This is the moment to ask for changes: fixing things here is far quicker than in video.
4. Animation and take selection
I animate each shot from the approved keyframes and discard any take where the product changes.
5. Editing, music and sound
I edit the spot with licensed library music and sound effects, and check the product’s continuity from shot to shot.
6. Review and delivery
You review the edit (one or two rounds, depending on the format) and I deliver the final files in FHD 1080p, in the agreed formats.
What kind of spot you can make
- Your product in impossible settings: the real car in a city that doesn’t exist, as in the Peugeot E-3008 demo.
- People using the product: Bryan Stepwise’s real shoe on a lead who is the same person in every shot.
- A series for a campaign: eight summer pieces with the same light and tone, like «Locos x Frigo» for Havas Play.
How long it takes and what it costs
A 12–20 second social spot, from €800 and 5–7 working days; a 20–30 second spot, from €1,200 and 1–2 weeks; a 30–60 second campaign spot, from €2,500 and 3–4 weeks. Timelines count from keyframe approval.
How I do it at Toni Riera AI Studio
The real product, keyframes retouched by hand, approval before animation and only the takes where the product is the real one. No shoot.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to send the physical product?
No. Good photos from 3 or 4 angles, renders or packaging files are enough.
What if I don’t have good product photos?
I’ll tell you which photos are needed. Often it’s enough to take them in good light against a neutral background; renders or 3D files work too.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. The key moment is keyframe approval, before animation. After that, the edit includes one or two rounds of revisions depending on the format; extra rounds from €50.
Who owns the rights?
The final pieces are yours for commercial use, with no time or territory limits.
Send me your product. I’ll set it in motion.
Photos, renders or whatever you have. Within 24–48 h I’ll tell you how I’d turn it into video and what it costs.
